Spring was in full swing on Crownhill Down this morning with two Cuckoos calling and uncountable Willow Warblers drowning out the singing Skylarks.  Only the Yellowhammers seemed not to be in the mood for song. Wheatears, Linnets, Pipits, Robins, Stonechats, Buzzards, Ravens, Great Spotted and Green Woodpeckers making up the supporting cast.
