Pleased to find our first Firecrest of the year was in our own backyard this morning. Later at Valley Road playing fields forty Pied Wagtails were picking off flies amongst the sixty Black-headed Gulls that were de-worming the football pitch. Also on the pitch was a single Little Egret, the first I’ve seen here.
