My mother-in-law who lives near Broadclyst reported 12 Cattle Egrets associating with cows in the field adjacent to her house yesterday and this morning. They are on private farmland and not visible from adjacent roads or paths but I thought I would share this in case it’s of any interest. I’m not sure of the status of Cattle Egrets in East Devon but where I live in East Dorset they are becoming quite commonplace.
