Thursday afternoon while working in Broadhembury I spotted a Pied Flycatcher in some trees bordering a customer’s garden (no camera) so yesterday morning I went back armed with camera, no Pied Flycatcher to be seen. However, there were two Long tailed tits, a Great spotted woodpecker, three Chaffinches and a Blackbird with food popping in and out of a nearby bush. Moving on to Aylesbeare Common were there were a few Linnets, a Song Thrush and some distance from the foot path I spotted a female Stonechat, a Siskin and a Dartford Warbler together on a bush. Total five Dartford Warblers seen around the site.
