Braunton, across the Marsh Road to the Burrows, down the American Road and home along the Toll Road. 52 Species recorded. Reed, Sedge, Cetti’s, and Willow Warblers in good numbers with Blackcaps, Chiffchaffs, Whitethroats and a fine male Lesser Whitethroat. Swallow, Sand and House Martin plus Swift – one over the reserve, the other keeping close company with a Red Kite near the Sandy Lane car park. At Crow point several waders out on the sandbank mid river included several of each of Whimbrel, Bar-trailed Godwit, Oystercatcher, Dunlin, Ringed Plover (1) and Curlew – one of which had yellow bling on both legs above the knee.
