A fairly quiet high tide visit to the above today. 220 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 2 Dunlin, 140+ Blackwit, 8+ Whimbrel, Curlew (no count), 14 Lapwing & 7 Teal was the best of it. 30+ Swallow & 20+ Sand Martin seemed to be early migration (with 30+ Swallow over Alphington this evening too). 220+ BH Gull, with only 3 Juvs. One Ad Med Gull.
Single Scarce Chaser still. And Hummingbird Hawk & Clouded Yellow amongst butterflies on Goat Walk Trust Fields. Good numbers of Peacock out, about 15.
At Countess Weir, 2 Egyptian Goose, seem to have taken up residence. And another Juv BH Gull, with 11 adults.
