I paid a relatively brief visit to Bowling Green Marsh and the goat walk today.
at the marsh there was the Spoonbill, accompanied by several flighty Black-tailed Godwits. Additionally there were two Scaups, one adult drake and one younger individual. Other birds on the marsh included 1 male pintail, a few pochard, & a singing chiffchaff.
From the goat walk there were 200-300+ wading birds distant on the far shore, and a few turnstone just off of the path. Of the large wader flock the only species I could pick out in a brief scan were Redshank, Dunlin, & many Godwits
