An hour-long visit over this morning’s high tide produced 750+ Black-tailed Godwits, 600+ Avocets, 150+ each of Pintail and Redshank, 14 Greylags, 6 Greenshanks, 2 each of Spotted Redshank and Gadwall, and singles of Ruff, Snipe, Tufted Duck, Kestrel, LBB Gull and Common Gull.
As I left the hide a Weasel crossed the road, followed at a suitable distance by a very agitated Wren.
