Yesterday morning visit, high tide on river. Numerous Redshank, Blackwits in summer plumage, Curlew, Whimbrel, Dunlin, Little Egrets, Herons, Shelduck, Gadwall, Common Sandpiper, Swallows, Sand martins and Swifts. A group of at least 10 mixed adult and juv. C. Sandpipers together with a Kingfisher on sea wall to right from viewing platform. 2 Black Swans on the Exe at Topsham.
