Belated news of yesterday’s high tide visit:
4 Spoonbills, 16 Cattle Egrets, 45 Little Egrets, 1 Mediterranean Gull, 2 Spotted Redshanks, 11 Greenshanks, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Knot, 150+ Dunlin, 4 Whimbrel, 350+ Curlews, plus uncounted Lapwings, Redshanks and Black-tailed Godwits. Unexpected was a Grass Snake on the damp mud.
