A visit on the morning high tide. 800+ Blackwit, 246 Curlew, 8 Barwit, 55+ Redshank, 17 Greenshank, 22 Lapwing, 29 Dunlin, 4 Snipe, Green Sandpiper & a Ruff. [Spoonbill, Avocets and other small waders flew off with the passing of a Marsh Harrier before I arrived]. 280+ Teal (180 of them on Goosemoor), 15 Pintail, 15 Shoveler, 56 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 7 Shelduck & female Pochard (latter seen a few hours later when had a brief second look). Also Little Grebe & 2 Greylag. Other bits included Rock Pipit, Grey Wagtail, Great Spttd Woodpecker, 2 Stonechat and later a Kingfisher flew past the Quay.
