I had intended to walk around Saltram today, but as the footfall was very heavy I decided just to look at Blaxton meadow at high tide.
Not much was on the meadow as there were two fishermen on the sluice gates and a couple walking around in the meadow near the gate! However, a Whimbrel was in amongst the 27 Curlews and two Med Gulls (sp ad & 2cy) with the BHG’s.
Six Common Sandpipers were on the sand spit on the estuary opposite the meadow.
