This afternoon there was a spotted redshank and two knot on Blaxton Meadow. Also good numbers of dunlin and redshank, some oystercatchers, curlew and shelduck. Quite a few Lesser Black-backed gulls and common gulls amidst the the black-headed and herring gulls. A firecrest nearby; and a pair of goosanders on the river. Unfortunately, the drake appeared to have an oyster shell attached to its bill.
