A pleasant hour this afternoon on the rising tide at Blaxton Meadow and the adjacent estuary. Birds included 8 Shelduck, 10 Wigeon, 7 Goosander (all reheads), a Little Grebe, a Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Turnstones, 27 Dunlin, 9 Snipe, 188 Redshank, 10 Greenshank, 4 Mediterranean Gulls and a Peregrine.
