Yesterday 11/11 was the first chance i had to look for the 3 Black Redstarts reported around the Marina. Every year we seam to have a couple turn up for winter so it was nice to see this female enjoying the late afternoon sun on the rooftops chasing insects. Hopefully they will hang around for other birders and residents to see these great little bird showing off the Orange/Red tails as they flit about the buildings trying to catch a fly or two.
