A female or immature Black Redstart was flitting about on the coastal vegetation at Boat Hyde this morning. The bird had an even dark grey-brown colour with a very slight hint of red-brown colour under its tail but otherwise very nondescript colouration. Later in the day there were about 25-30 redwing feeding on pasture near Bloody corner.
