I was just settling down for a bit of snooker on the telly, after Sunday lunch, as you do, when news broke of a Black-winged Stilt down at Black Hole Marsh NR near Seaton. Well, I don’t care how good anyone’s screw back to kiss the pink is, I couldn’t resist to come on down.
The stilt showed well from both Tower Hide and Island Hide as it was occasionally moved on by Black-tailed Godwits but always gave great views. My first for Devon, marvellous.
