This morning on a walk along the Tarka Path from Barnstaple to Heanton Court there were a number of Lapwings on both sides of the path, on the riverbank off Pottington there were a dozen or so Dunlin, loads of Oystercatchers, a few Grey Plover, a few Redshank and what appeared to be a couple of Snipe. Not spotted until downloading my photos.
