Yesterday I was in a number of locations across Devon. Northam Burrows where there were a few Linnets and a pair of Pied Wagtails (Nest building). Holsworthy, Hatherleigh and Lapford where I spotted two Swifts in each area. Tawstock where a pair of Blackcaps were posing for a photo and Duck pill Salt pond were there were a good number of Swallows c100 and a small number of Sand Martins. While in the Fremington area another birder pointed out a single Heron sitting on her nest just a few feet from the ground.
