A midday walk from snow covered Arlington Court down to the lake and bird hide had good numbers of robins, blackbirds, chaffinches, nuthatches, blue, great, coal, and long-tailed tits, dunnock, wrens, 6 siskins, and a couple of goldcrest – the half frozen lake had plenty of mallard and a few moorhen, one heron and the briefest glimpse of a kingfisher.
