Red-crested Pochard at Wrafton Pond
16 November 2009
Roy Churchill took these three delightful photos of a male Red-crested Pochard at Wrafton Pond on 9 November.
Red-crested Pochard is classified as a rare vagrant to Devon, and most birds seen in the county are more than likely to be escapes. Be that as it may, it is a highly characterful duck, as Roy's pictures show.
