BTO training courses

12 January 2009

Taking part in BTO surveys is both fun and easy, but if you lack confidence in your ability to identify birds, are not sure about the methods the BTO uses for its surveys, or already contribute to a survey but want to make sure you are getting it right, then why not enrol in one of the BTO’s tailor-made training courses?

Topics include Bird Survey Techniques, Bird Identification, Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) and Atlas (Bird Atlas 2007-11) methodology as well as Bird Ringing. There are both residential courses (2.5 days) and one-day workshops available. For further information visit www.bto.org/notices/trgworkshops.htm
